Edward R. Moore, III, President

Ed Moore brings a regionally renowned reputation for land development, preservation, farming and community to Vint Hill, with three decades of experience working with everyone from land developers and civil engineers to individual homeowners.

He believes that community should be about balance, and he dedicates much of his time to preserving natural and historic lands, volunteering in the community, and creating real places for people to live, work and raise their children.

Ed began his tenure as the president of Brookside Communities in 2003, and oversaw the development of Brookside from its early phases, including the completion of Brookside Parkway, 650 finished lots, utilities infrastructure, and the community pool and clubhouse.

In 2010, he started an estate home building company called Brookside Construction, and in 2012 he helped form Lakeside homes by constructing midsize, village, and multifamily homes. That same year, he formed a commercial real estate company, Vint Hill Village LLC, to bring targeted commercial and retail business to Fauquier county residents and to provide them with needed amenities and services.

Ed farms more than 600 acres in Warrenton with his wife, Tammy, and their four children.

Devin T. Finan, Chief Financial Officer

Before joining the Brookside team in late 2009 and, most recently, the Vint Hill team in 2014, Devin Finan spent over 18 years in the banking industry with BB&T and M&T Banks. Devin’s expertise has earned him many roles over the years. Under positions such as Commercial Lender, Senior Credit Officer and Area Executive, Devin played a heavy hand in spearheading the development, underwriting, closing and servicing of billions of dollars in commercial loans throughout the D.C. metropolitan area and Southeastern North Carolina.

Devin’s emphasis in building strong relationships with much of the Washington’s residential builder and developer community during his banking career led him to manage the finances of Brookside and eventually start his own homebuilding company, Lakeside Homes. In addition to his residential endeavors, Devin teamed up with his colleagues from Brookside to facilitate the acquisition and closing of their recent and largest purchase to-date, Vint Hill.

Serving in a dual financial-leadership capacity, Devin focuses on preserving and growing thoughtful financial backing from which Vint Hill can begin to cultivate its community and live/work destination lifestyle.
